CARICATURES
I truly enjoy “nailing” a likeness and getting as many details about the subject,
into each of these caricatures. A great personalized gift!
A 50th birthday gift, for a multi-talented guy.
A 60th birthday gift for a guitar-playing, Husband/Father of 3, Math teacher…(hence the blackboard background).
The gentleman depicted above, used his 10,000 watt generator & heavy-duty pump, to help his neighbors. During Hurricane Irene, our (and many others) basements had flooded, due to the power outage. I created the piece above & had all the families he helped, sign the matte, as a Thank You gift..
This was commissioned as a retirement gift.
This piece was commissioned for the 70th birthday roast, of a 2-time Pulitzer Prize winning author & Washington Post columnist.
I went with B&W and added the dot-screen, to better-convey his newspaper “roots”.
This was done for the ultra-fit, former manager of my gym, who was renting an RV and moving, with her 2 Huskies.
An “oldie” done for a former workmate. This piece was done with traditional markers & colored pencils
(blue gradient background and type was added digitally).
